Anxious?

P E A C E F U L

Pray first! Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Easy now ... rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Psalm 37:7

Act on it. Be a worry slapper; treat worries like mosquitoes!

Compile a worry list. Go back and look; how many actually became realities?

Evaluate your worry categories. Pray for them: Themes, Obsessions, etc.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

Focus on today! Do not be anxious about tomorrow!

Unleash a 'prayer warrior army'. Share your burdens and ask others to pray with and for you.

Let God be enough. Your heavenly Father knows. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be yours as well.

Lord God, thank you, once again, for Your faithfulness!
Thank you for Your Word proclaimed through Pastor Van Dellen!
May we all take to heart these teachings and seek to have a more peaceful life while here. We know this is what You want for us, Father, for You love us so and want the very best for us. Please convict our hearts to seek Your face and Your heart and Your will for our lives ... as Your church.

Thank you, also, for these words from Isaiah 48
...another reminder where True Peace comes from:

17 This is what the LORD says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the LORD your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.
18 If only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your well-being like the waves of the sea."

Keep us in Your loving care, Father God. In the precious name of Your Son, Jesus, we pray. Amen
