Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire

Dear Father, thank you for your mercy and the salvation you have given us in Jesus Christ. Please forgive us for all our sins and shortcomings. Draw us to You, and begin a new work of grace in all of us.

Make us the people you want us to be. Fill our hearts and minds, our church with your fresh wind and fresh fire.

In Psalm 139, the psalmist writes "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me,and lead me in the way everlasting."

Break our pride, soften our hearts, and fill us to overflowing with your Holy Spirit, O God. Do all this so that the name of Jesus will be exalted throughout the earth.
In His name we pray. Amen.

Phil 4:6-7 (the Message): "Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitiions & praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down."
